Use cinnamon to keep ants away and promote plant growth
Cinnamon has many properties that we can use to protect plants from pests and diseases, but not only. We suggest you how to use cinnamon in the garden and in potted plants.
We associate cinnamon with an aromatic spice. You should know that there are two popular types of cinnamon. One is the properly prepared bark of a tree called Cinnamonum verum (Ceylon cinnamon), the other comes from the fragrant cinnamon tree, also called Chinese cinnamon or cassia (Cinnamonum cassia).
Culinarily, Ceylon cinnamon is considered more valuable and healthier, but the basic properties are similar. Both are also sometimes purchased simply as "cinnamon", especially the powdered version. Both species of cinnamon can be used in the garden.
